4/2/15 - Ozark's GT program is now accepting nominations for the 2015 - 2016 school year. If you would like to nominate a child please contact your child's teacher to obtain a form or use form provided under the "More" tab above. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, April 17th 2015.
QB for 4th, 5th, and 6th teams at Clarksville on Tuesday, February 10th. Junior High QB Tournament at Van Buren on Friday, February 13th. Senior High QB Tournament on Friday, February 20th in Van Buren.
Thursday, 12/11/14 - GT Club Meeting for 6th and 7th graders from 3:30 - 4:30 in Mrs. Chrisman's room at the Altus Campus.
Tuesday, 12/16/14 - QB practice for 5th, 6th, Jr. High and Sr. High teams in the Elementary Gym at Ozark from 3:30 - 4:30.
Reminders:

Please pick your 4th , 5th or 6th grader up at the Altus East campus around 5:00 Feel free to come watch. We would love to have you. Elementary Chess Tournament (4th ,5th, and 6th grade) is Thursday, December 4th. at Free Will Baptist Church in Van Buren. Please sign and return permission slips that will be sent out. We will leave from the elementary campus around 8:00 just have them come to the GT room that morning. We will be back at school for your child to go home their normal way. Feel free to come watch. Girls of Promise 2014
Held in Little Rock, Arkansas Girls in the eighth grade GT program were invited to attend the Girls of Promise conference held in Little Rock. The conference was held to promote interest among girls to gain interest in careers focused in the science, math and technology field. Some activities included presentations from various speakers in various Stem careers. They toured the Clinton Library and went to the museum of discovery. There were also different breakout sessions the girls could attend that related to these different fields. |
